Let's talk about strength training...... Strength training isn't just about getting ripped, it's more like a secret weapon against the natural changes in our bodies as we age and go through menopause. Let's discuss bone density, it's like building a fortress around your bones. As we age, our bones can become more fragile and brittle. Strength training says, "not on my watch!" Pumping iron can actually increase bone density, making you more resilient against fractures and diseases such as osteoporosis. If you want to be able to get off the toilet when you're 80, you need to start strength training now!

Now, let's discuss muscle mass. Many women are afraid of lifting weights as they feel they may look too bulky. That won't happen unless you are training 7 days a week and eating a very strict diet! Weight training or bodybuilding is like sculpting your body and helps you look 'toned' and defined. As we age, we tend to lose muscle mass. However, lifting weights revs up your metabolism and helps maintain that lean muscle, keeping you strong and ready to conquer whatever comes your way.

Now, designing the perfect program for you is my job. Whether you are completely new to lifting or have experience in the gym, I can tailor a program, just for you, focusing on correct technique, safety and most importantly, fun!
